The first try at making this hat took about 50 hours which included time spent learning to knit 'right' as well as figuring out how to do the 2 color brioche stitch with increases and decreases. The pattern had a flaw that made the center of the lollipops to be too small. Each lollipop looked like a barancle! Even after washing and blocking it, the hat was still 'lumpy'. I adjusted the pattern and made this one in two nights! This picture was taken before the hat was blocked and it is already much flatter than the other one after blocking.
