I grew up crossing the Wisconsin River on the Merrimac Ferry, so I thought I knew ferries, but the Osprey 2000 is several times bigger and does not use a cable, has a coffee shop and plenty of time to strike up a conversation while crossing. I suggested they need a mini free library box like neighborhoods have in Madison. Who knows, maybe next time they will have one.
