YahELite: Censor Offensive Words
Everyone has certain words they would rather not see in chat.
You can censor the word without losing the rest of the chatter's text by editing the list of words to
be censored. .
Edit the profanity filter by clicking YahELite's menu >Options then click >Personal
which will open the window to set your personal options.
Click the button labeled Censored in the lower left corner of the window.
This will bring up a small text input window where you can add the words you want to censor.
Once a word is in the filter, anytime the word is posted in the room, you will see
instead of the word.
Hints:
- If YahELite's menu is not visible, click the tab labeled Menu in the Tab Bar.
- Make sure to put commas between the words that are added to your filter
- Learn about filtering the entire line that contains the offending words, or how to ignore the chatter that posts it on the SPAM FILTER page.
